The heavens and the earth

Christ the savior

The Bible says in Genesis chapter 1:1; ” In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”. This simple, straightforward statement that scripture asserts, demands faith to acknowledge and believe. The evidence of divine architecture is displayed throughout creation, as is intelligent design, even down to the smallest molecule. Psalm 19:1 says, ” The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” The Psalmist in chapter 8:3 declares” When I consider the thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, The moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;” Notice here, who’s heavens they are, as well as the fact that all creation is the work of God’s fingers, along with the point about ordaining the moon and stars. The Creator had a design in mind as well as a foreordained purpose from the beginning. Unlike myself, God does everything with a purpose according to His foreordained plan.

Jesus Christ, according to the scripture, was foreordained by God. 1 Peter 1:20, to redeem us from our sins. Of all the wonders in God’s creation, the apex of everything is Jesus Christ! St. John 1:1 ” In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” Praise the high and holy name of Jesus, for the knowledge of this profound truth. He is the beginning and the ending.

Of course, I realize, not everyone shares my viewpoint. Atheists prefer to deny the existence of the Creator, and the “theory” of evolution, while taught as scientific fact, requires more faith(gullibility) to believe than the biblical narrative. I am so happy that I can admire creation through the lens of scripture. Respect fellow human beings as made in the image of God almighty and therefore of great worth. Finally, that I am known by Jesus Christ, Hebrews 1:2-3 is a great place to finish. “Hath in these last days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”

If you’ve ever heard Him speak, then you know what I am talking about, and if you’ve never heard His voice, I encourage you to consider His works and listen to His Gospel. Then you can be with Him forever in Heaven.
